Wireless Charging For Electric Cars

Wireless Charging For Electric Cars
A car company is planning to cut the cord for its electric cars.

Toyota will debut wireless charging for its 2016 models and you'll start seeing them in showrooms in about a year.

The automaker made an investment with wireless charging developer WiTricity in 2011 and other automakers began developing similar plans, but Toyota will be the first in the industry to bring it to market.

Rather than having to deal with bulky cables or having to get out of the car to plug in, drivers would simply park over a special pad to recharge.

Alignment won't be a problem - movable receptor pads under the car will make close enough good enough.
