Facebook says it'll continue to use you in online ads.
Facebook has updated its privacy policies, and people were hoping there would be some changes made to how Facebook uses people in its ads.
But the social network reaffirmed its position that they're able to use postings and personal information from the more than 1 billion user accounts for advertising purposes.
Facebook had reached a 20 million dollar settlement in August on a class action lawsuit that claimed the company's "Sponsored Stories" platform shared users' "likes" without paying them or allowing them to opt out.
The new guidelines were posted on Facebook's blog Friday.
